If America Can Come Back From Biden, You Can Come Back From Anything

I wish I kept better track of all that happened over the last four years. But I guess it’s for the best I didn’t. If I had committed to memory every betrayal of the American people, every bald faced lie told without flinching, every atrocity footed by the taxpayer, I think I’d be in a straitjacket. Some of you might think I belong in one, but for the time being, you’re out of luck.

As someone that loves this country, it was difficult to keep hope alive over the last four years. As much as I tried to cling to it, there were times where it felt completely out of reach.

They blatantly ignored the law. They lectured us about “decency” and “democracy” while they engaged in brazen crime and corruption. They abandoned us, they antagonized us, and they attacked us. From the Afghanistan withdrawal to the FEMA funds used to house illegal immigrants leading to hurricane victims in Appalachia living in tents, the Biden “administration” was an embarrassment from start to finish.

They were this 👌🏾 close to completing what Obama started.

They were this 👌🏾 close to “radically transforming our country.”

This time last year it was hard to imagine a path forward for America. It was hard to understand what was happening, or how it could be stopped.

It seemed like there was no justice in the world. Like the globalists could do whatever they wanted, and they always got away with it.

It was like we were on a sinking ship – and the captain drove full speed into an iceberg on purpose while half the crew were cutting holes in the life jackets and the other half were putting passengers in the brig for pointing out that we were sinking.

The radios weren’t working and midgets were starting to drown. But somehow and suddenly, we were saved.

The older you get, it can feel juvenile and stupid to believe in justice, or miracles, or good itself.

It seems like the less you care about doing the right thing, or how your actions affect other people, the more you achieve. Or like the worse you are, the better your life is.

It seems like at some point, for your own sanity, you have to stop hoping for retribution that may never come, accepting the world for what it is.

It was hard to understand if and how things could really change for the better after an election stolen in plain sight and four years of choreographed sabotage from the top down. But if we had ever really and fully surrendered to our despair, we wouldn’t have bothered voting. Let’s face it, it’s way too annoying to do if you don’t think it matters at all.

Of course, after 2020, we had our doubts in the election system. We had a fear that this was a meaningless gesture that would ultimately be overridden and ignored. And we had every reason to harbor those anxieties.

But we had a small opportunity to do something, and we had enough faith to make use of it.

Despite every indicator that the war for the future of our country had been lost, we voted, and more importantly, we prayed.

Because we believed that something good could happen – however faintly – we acted. And as a result, something good actually did happen.

It wasn’t just something good. It was borderline inconceivable. It was surreal. It felt too good to be true.

Abruptly and without warning, what we thought was impossible became our reality.

Before the election, certain states and media outlets were already warning that they expected it to take days and weeks to tally the votes. In Philadelphia, a convoy of moving trucks pulled up to a counting location at midnight. They were trying to pull the exact same routine that they did in 2020, but it didn’t work.

They tried to kill him, but it didn’t work. They rigged the debate, but it didn’t work. They tried to bankrupt him and throw him behind bars, but it didn’t work.

And if God can redeem an entire country seemingly in an instant and out of the blue, imagine what He can do in your life.

Imagine what He’s already doing in your life that you know nothing about.

If America can make a comeback after these past four years, so can you.

No matter who you are, what you’ve been through, or how helpless you may feel, your “luck” and your life can change at any moment.

The rigged election in 2020 laid the foundation for devastation and destruction we didn’t know we’d ever get through. But it was necessary to facilitate one of the greatest awakenings and cultural shifts in our lifetime.

And as you face your own obstacles, while you may struggle to make sense of them, and at times wonder if you’ll ever emerge triumphantly, know that God can and will use your suffering to lead you to victories you never had the audacity to dream of.

Justice and morality weren’t inventions of Disney or Hollywood – they’re reminders of our sovereign Creator in a world that often feels a million times removed from Him.

The world isn’t fair, but God is.

The world doesn’t care, but God does.

The world is cruel, harsh and predictable in all the wrong ways, but God is merciful, loving, willing and waiting to bless us beyond measure in ways we don’t deserve and can’t fathom.

Even when you struggle to believe in yourself and the world around you, believe in Him and know that the story He’s writing for your life is better and more beautiful than anything you could have come up with on your own.
