A new kind of matchmaking project

America In Love

America is in debt. America is at war. America is, in my opinion, in over its head. But I think it’s time for America to be In Love, and I’m just delusional enough to think I can help make that happen.

Every year, there’s a new study or statistic about how even fewer people are dating, getting married, and having babies.

It’s led some people to question if the West made a mistake when it moved on from arranged marriages.

My instinct when I saw takes like that was to roll my eyes, but then I wondered if they might be onto something.

Maybe we do need to outsource companionship to a wise, ancient, and impartial (or at least less partial?) third party. The problem with arranged marriage wasn’t the concept itself, but that it didn’t involve me. I should be the village matchmaker.

I’m kidding, but as my social media following has grown, I’ve encountered so many dynamic, smart, beautiful, likeminded people struggling romantically. I was scrolling on Instagram watching this specialized matchmaker when it dawned on me that I should be doing the same for my community.

When I say “my community,” I mean the American right. I know it seems broad. But I don’t care if we agree on Trump, or Iran, or 2028. If you love America, I want to help you find love.

And when I say “love,” I mean it. I think too many people on the right have minimized the value of genuine connection and chemistry, encouraging people to go all in on the first person that glances in their direction and seems like they could be a decent parent.

If that works for you, more power to you.

And of course, I’ve seen people go too far in the other direction; expecting some fairytale and holding out for a character they imagined, dismissing anyone who doesn’t check a long list of frivolous requirements.

But I believe passion and practicality can and should coexist, and I want to help people find spouses who are right for them on paper and in person.

And while cultural norms haven’t always made that possible, I genuinely believe it’s what God intended for us.

I know what you may be thinking.

“How can you be a matchmaker — you’re not married?”

And touché. But have you seen some of the setups married people have attempted? Exactly. Sometimes you need someone who sees the struggle with fresh, empathetic eyes.

The service starts 100% free.

As this will require substantial time on my end, please follow me on at least one social media platform (Instagram, Substack, or Twitter) to support this effort.

You must be 18 years of age or older to apply.

America In Love is beginning online, but it won’t stay there. Private, filtered, and ticketed events are starting in Florida, with plans to expand to a city near you.
