Seize the Day!

There is no better time to do better than now.

How often do we tell ourselves that we’re going to do something tomorrow or next week or next month?

We can come up with excuse after excuse, but it would be a much more efficient and beneficiary use of our time to come up with solutions.

You may not have the money for a gym membership right now, but you do have the access to youtube workout tutorials; many of which don’t require any workout equipment. You may not have the time or money to make yourself fresh fruit smoothies every day, but you do have access to running water, and have every opportunity to drink more of it.

For all of the time you spend refreshing twitter and stalking the Kardashians on instagram, you could be doing something to actually change your life for the better. You could be learning a new language with a free app on your phone, you could be working out, you could finally be getting around to the blog you’ve always wanted to start.

We constantly complain about our lives, and I think that we have all generally forgotten that there is a lot more that we can do with our time than browse and refresh social media.

If you can’t sleep, don’t stay on your phone looking at things that don’t matter until you’re partially blind; create. Get inspired. Do your homework.

This world and our lives are overflowing with potential, and we have no one to blame but ourselves if we neglect to take advantage of it.

  • im pro life, and I’m conflicted, and I think that’s a good thing. And I think the more questions we ask ourselves and our fellow Americans despite what we believe or what we think we know, the better off we’ll all be. I wrote a blog post for the first time in forever and I hope you’ll read it, even if you hate me after. Link in bio, read before bitching. And I’d also encourage you to go over to @backinfebruary_ to read a unique, refreshing, balanced and most importantly compassionate perspective from a single mother that became pregnant unexpectedly.

  • Remember when our parents told us not to talk to people on the internet and I live with someone I met on FB and I’m going to a wedding for someone I met on insta lol

  • I work hard because I have a dream of stacking hundreds on each blade of a ceiling fan above my bed (that will be mostly ornamental because I’ll have central air) and making it rain
