Yesterday was Memorial Day, and more important than sales, barbecues, and OOTDs (including this one) is remembering the sacrifices of those that died serving in the American military. I’m grateful to have the best military in the world and be surrounded by men and women that would lay down their lives to protect their country. The privileges we enjoy as American citizens would not be possible without their selflessness or fortitude, and that is something we should never take for granted.
Yesterday obviously wasn’t about me, what I wore, or what sick sales are happening, which is why I waited a day to post this. Even though Memorial Day has come and gone, I encourage everyone to visit their local veterans cemeteries and homeless centers for perspective at some point. We’re all better off when more people have a general understanding of and appreciation for what the military and their families give up for their fellow countrymen.
Although my weekend wasn’t particularly interesting, I hope that everyone enjoyed theirs and took time to reflect on why we celebrate this Monday in May every year. God bless our troops, God bless their families and God bless America.

Thank you for not doing what @potus44 did and post a bunch of pictures of yourself on Memorial Day. My family has a long history of serving in the military since immigrating to the United States and I echo your sentiments.
You look great, and thanks for including a link to your bag so I can buy one 😛
