[Members Only] I’ve Felt This Before & It Didn’t End The Way I Thought It Would

A few months before I turned 30, a close friend at the time kissed me.

I don’t think either of us saw it coming.

My initial instinct was to pretend it never happened. But in the aftermath, I struggled to forget it.

It was the first time I really felt something in over a year.

I distinctly remember realizing at a Jimmy John’s that I had feelings for him. I told him maybe an hour later. It was mutual.

What if I put a Jimmy John’s ad right here? Lmfao. Anyways…

He wasn’t what I usually go for in any sense. He was much too flashy for my tastes, and he definitely suffered from main character syndrome, which was fine in a friend but not what I gravitate to at all in romance.

But for reasons I couldn’t explain, I was head over heels. Anyone on my Close Friends list at the time could tell you.
