If you hate Trump so much that you’ve been able to psyop yourself into believing the past four years haven’t humiliated, degraded and betrayed the American people, this isn’t for you. If you’re willing to ignore your eyes and ears to the point that you believe it when the pundits tell you that our country is actually thriving, that the economy isn’t that bad, that our border isn’t really that open…I don’t think there’s anything I can say to you at this point that will convince you otherwise. But if you look at the decay and destruction around you, and find your belief system at odds with what your gut is telling you to do, and you haven’t voted yet, I hope you’ll hear me out.
I know there’s a temptation to rationalize your way into voting the way you always do. You want to believe you were right, but because of the wrong circumstances and poor execution, it just didn’t work out the way it was supposed to. You might want to believe things weren’t as bad as they felt, or if you’ve come to terms with how bad they were, you might want to believe it’s just a fluke, and that this time around, things will be different.
And they will be…but not in the way that you’re hoping for.
The only reason our Republic still has a snowball’s chance in hell of survival is because two brave Democratic senators were willing to stand up to their party when it mattered most, but they’re both retiring. And if the Democratic Party as it stands gets a second consecutive shot at leading the free world, securing both the Senate and the White House, things are going to get much worse, and I think on some level, you know it.
But for a decent portion of your life, you’ve probably believed that good people could only vote one way.
Good people believed “no human being is illegal.” Good people believed “black lives matter.” Good people believed “love is love.”
And you might think that if you vote for the other side, that you can’t be a good person anymore. Or maybe you can’t think of yourself as one anymore.
But what if the world is more complex than protest slogans?
What if what sounds compassionate is nothing of the sort?
What if it’s not a coincidence that you felt richer, freer, and safer when the “bad guy” was in charge?
What if importing people from dangerous foreign countries by the millions made us weaker as a nation? What if defunding the police and lenient sentencing drastically lowered the quality of life for law abiding citizens? What if when we put our differences on an altar, they inevitably foster more hate? What if there are much more important things about us than what shade we are or who we sleep with?
What if “being a good person” means challenging yourself, and what you’ve accepted as true, even when it’s inconvenient?
What if being a good person has more to do with what is good than what sounds good?
For as long as I’ve been in politics, I’ve heard people say, “vote your conscience” – and I don’t think it’s ever been more important to do that than it is right now.
If you’re hesitating to vote for Kamala Harris, there’s a reason for it.
On some level, you know better. You deserve better, and your nation does too.
You can tell yourself she’s competent, tough, and ready for the role, and so can the talking heads on MSNBC…but that doesn’t make it true.
You’ve seen enough of her to know that you can’t trust her.
You know she’s not the person you want making high risk, high consequence decisions under pressure. You know she can’t command respect on the world stage. You know she’s not a fighter.
She’s fumbled and flailed her way through the last four years, struggling to string together a coherent sentence without a teleprompter in front of her, and making it abundantly clear early into the administration that she was chosen explicitly and solely to fulfill a demographic promise as opposed to her qualifications or merits.
She’s completely void of substance – and she can’t even be bothered to try to explain her duplicity. She’s flip flopped on every major issue but abortion since her campaign began, and with hours to go to Election Day, hasn’t even attempted to make her ever evolving positions make sense.
Her campaign slogan is “we’re not going back”…but why wouldn’t you want to? I want to go back to a time where my dollar went further, where my government understood that they work for me and not the other way around, where the world wasn’t in constant chaos, and when we were more proud to be Americans than being black or gay or nonbinary. Why would you want to continue on the path that we’re on?
She’s a fraud, she’s a liability, and she’s an embarrassment unfit to run a KFC much less a country.
And no matter how much you want to believe she’s something else, repeating lies about who she is or what she’s capable of doesn’t actually change who she is or what she’s capable of.
The Regime and their allied media will lie to you with a straight face about what’s right in front of you without missing a beat. For every absurdity and atrocity this administration commits, they’ll offer some half baked “fact check” or justification. They’ll tell you a lie is the truth and the truth is a lie even with videographic evidence to the contrary. And if you want to believe it badly enough, you can.
But if at this point, you still have a feeling in the pit of your stomach, telling you what’s happening around you isn’t normal, or good – and you can’t trust the Democrats fix it – you should probably listen.
Your body is trying to tell you something. Your nervous system is reacting to everything around you, and it knows something’s not right, even if your brain hasn’t quite caught up with it yet.
You have intuition and instincts for a reason. Don’t let them go to waste when you and America have more than ever to lose.
what do you think?
