Frugal Friday

I thought it might be fun to start a weekly tradition of finding less expensive versions of lovely higher end pieces. So without further a due, this #FrugalFriday features a $200 White House | Black Market dress on the right and a $30 Charlotte Russe dress on the left. I bought the WHBM version because I’m an employee and have a much better idea of how those clothes fit me than I do of Charlotte Russe. Even with my discount, the WHBM dress was about 4x as expensive as the dress from Charlotte Russe. The Charlotte Russe dress appears to be much shorter than the WHBM dress, but depending on your lifestyle and where you intend to wear the dress that may not be much of a problem. I attend church regularly and will be interning for a congressman this summer, so I wanted something a little more modest that I could wear in more conservative settings. The Charlotte Russe version, however, is an adorable alternative with a modest silhouette despite its length.
