Frugal Friday: Somewhere Over The Rainbow

tumblr_npu0to02oT1rj5smso2_r1_540.jpg

A few weeks ago, I decided to reward myself for surviving jury duty with a little shopping. I stopped at Rainbow, a trendy, inexpensive store that usually has some hidden gems. Think Forever 21 with less money, worse marketing, a lot more of the ratch factor and old Forever 21 prices. While I generally prefer a more classic style (evident in the dress I picked out), I’ve been in desperate need for high wasted shorts as I try to shed the weight I put on during the school year, and finally found some that fit.

TIP: Girls with bigger butts and smaller waists, shorts with tiniest percent of spandex make all the difference

That crop top was calling my name, and I decided to be a little less basic than usual and go for the turquoise instead of the navy. It was only $9 so I really had no choice.

I wrote a blog post for the first time in forever and I hope you’ll read it, even if you hate me after. Link in bio, read before bitching. And I’d also encourage you to go over to @backinfebruary_ to read a unique, refreshing, balanced and most importantly compassionate perspective from a single mother that became pregnant unexpectedly.
