Dad Shirts As Dresses Are The Future

Imagine a 46 year old retired frat star father of two wearing a visor on vacation in Florida. What shirt is he wearing? Whatever shirt you’re imagining is a dad shirt, and they’re everything right with the world. There is nothing I love like a good dad shirt, and they’ve become a staple of my summer wardrobe. But the one downside is that the only place you really find good ones are thrift stores, and making shirts intended for grown out of shape men look good on a much smaller frame is easier said than done. That’s why my heart practically stopped when I saw this cute little number at J. Crew Factory, as it was designed like a dad shirt but to actually fit my body.

Dress: J. Crew Factory

Purse: Kate Spade

Shoes: Charlotte Russe (Similar)

  • im pro life, and I’m conflicted, and I think that’s a good thing. And I think the more questions we ask ourselves and our fellow Americans despite what we believe or what we think we know, the better off we’ll all be. I wrote a blog post for the first time in forever and I hope you’ll read it, even if you hate me after. Link in bio, read before bitching. And I’d also encourage you to go over to @backinfebruary_ to read a unique, refreshing, balanced and most importantly compassionate perspective from a single mother that became pregnant unexpectedly.
